Clean CANON lens
On the next explanation, we can see how to dismount a NON L CANON lens.
NON L series means that the lens is not sealed.
This is a very big problem, because it gets dirty along the time. The problem is too big when you use diaphragms uppers than 7. The problem of the dirty is more important on the external lens, because of that, we can see how to unmount the external optics group.
The below images shows two diferent lens in two columns, one for each lens model. That you can see, the process is too similar to both lens.

The first thing to do, is to unmount the hoop that hidden the screws and some times, shows the lens model.
The hoops are stuck by a slightly strong adhesive that we will not must touch in order that it does not lose properties.
In both cases, with a small screwdriver and doing continuous moderate force to it during a few seconds,
little by little we can unmount the hoop. The hoop of the MACRO besides adhesive, has three tabs that are very easy to unmount.
The operation is not recommended to do many often because the serious wear that suffer the coils of the orifices of the screws and the adhesive.
As you can see on this photos, the hoop is already unmounted. I've marked in red the notch of the hoop. On the right photo you can see the tabs of the MACRO hoop.

And finally we can access to the external lens group.
Please, have extreme care of not touching the lenses with any tool.
Now we can clean the lens. We recomend to use ECLIPSE to clean the lens.

It's posible to access to the next lenses. The screws to the next lenses are visibles as you can
see in the photos, but we don't recommend to clean its because the
focus and zoom lens are very delicates. Also the IS is very delicate.
To mount the lens, the process is the inverse one. Don't press in excess the screws.
